The Malaysian Army is the owner of the ACV300 adnan tank, a family of amphibious infrantry fighting vechicles. The Tank was manufactured by DRB-HICOM Defence Technologies (DefTech) and developed by the Turkish defence company FNSS Savunnma Sistemleri A.S.

The tank simulator was locally developed to satisfy the specific requirements and doctrine of the Malaysian Army. The ACV-300 Adnan tank simulator serves as a training system that simulates the procedures of the ACV-300 Adnan. It facilitates the training of operators and personnel in a variety of tactical and combat scenarios without the use of the actual vehicle. The simulator offers a realistic environment for practicing transportation, weapon system operation, and battlefield tactics, in addition to providing cost-effective and safe training. It is designed to improve operational readiness by integrating sophisticated graphics, motion platforms, and simulation technologies to simulate real-world scenarios.

The Simulator improves overall readiness by enhancing tactical skills, decision-making, and cooperation under a variety of battlefield conditions. The simulator ensuring the Malaysian Army is well-prepared for a real-world operations.

After winning an open tender from the Ministry of Defence, Xcel Itech Sdn Bhd was granted the responsibility of maintaining the ACV300 Adnan Tank Simulator from 2019 to 2022. The end user received the highest quality of service as a result of the extensive experience of the Xcel staff. During that time, we were extremely grateful for the assistance and guidance provided by Malaysian Army.

PETS


The Malaysian Army uses the Portable Electronic Target Systems (PETS) to improve shooting accuracy and operational readiness. The technology enhances training by allowing for more efficient monitoring and assessment of shooting performance.


OUR SCOPE:


Xcel Itech Sdn Bhd has been granted the opportunity to provide maintenance services in nine locations across Malaysia by the Malaysian Army. We have been granted an additional three-year contract by the Malaysian Army to provide maintenance and support for the PETS from 2024 to 2027. This is the second consecutive tenure following the initial PETS maintenance contract, which was in effect from 2021 to 2024.
